The beer comes to you
The Giants describe beer vendors weaving through the stands, which is part of what makes a Japanese game feel different from a ballpark where you queue at a stand. You can usually watch for a vendor in your aisle instead of leaving your seat during play. Look at what a vendor is carrying before you wave one down, since not every drink on offer is beer.
Stadium food
The Giants promote a wide variety of high-quality stadium food as part of the day, well beyond a hot dog. Menus and stalls change from one season to the next, so look around the concourse and decide on the night rather than expecting a fixed list. There is no need to eat a full meal before you arrive.
Ordering and paying
Tokyo Dome City's visitor guide describes the stadium as completely cashless. Bring a credit card or a transport IC card such as Suica or PASMO. Vending machines vary in the payment methods they accept, so read the display before you insert anything.
What isn't part of your ticket
A game ticket is admission to the game. Food and drink inside the Dome are paid for separately. On the baseball tour, local snacks are included but additional food and drinks are not. Tokyo Dome also publishes a list of items that may not come in, including dangerous goods and anything used to reserve seats, so check it before you pack a bag.
If you want to eat before or after instead
Tokyo Dome City's own guide suggests takeout food from the LaQua area for eating while you watch a game, and the complex has a food court and restaurants. Eating a proper meal outside before the game, or after the last out, is a reasonable choice if you would rather treat the stadium food as a snack.
